Three suspects fleeing police after a residential burglary attempted to navigate their vehicle between the right shoulder barrier and a box truck in the right-hand lane of a Southern California freeway and found themselves pinned between the two immovable objects.
According to KTLA-TV, which had a news helicopter following the pursuit, the suspect vehicle had its driver side door ripped off in the collision. The suspects—identified as 21-year-old Cassidy Poston, 20-year-old Oscar Rivas, and 23-year-old Brandon Buchanan—had to exit the vehicle from the driver side as the passenger side remained pinned against the guardrail.
All three were taken into custody without further incident. Deputies recovered the property that was stolen from the burglary.
