Officers in Utah were forced to shoot and kill a gunman who reportedly opened fire at several locations in Salt Lake City on Monday.
The subject had reportedly discharged a firearm at a local gas station and then a nearby hotel before leading police on a pursuit in a pickup truck. The subject then allegedly crashed his vehicle into a building.
According to KUTV News, the suspect then opened fire on responding officers. Officers returned fire, fatally wounding the man.
The gunman—identified as 37-year-old Harold Vincent Robinson—had reportedly robbed a number of convenience stores before coming into contact with police.
One officer suffered a minor injury from reportedly a bullet ricochet during the incident.
