Man Fleeing Wisconsin Police Dies in Fiery Crash
A man who was reportedly fleeing police in Milwaukee crashed into a vacant home, setting both the car and the dwelling alight in flames.
A man who was reportedly fleeing police in Milwaukee crashed into a vacant home, setting both the car and the dwelling alight in flames.
According to Channel 3000, officers were conducting a drug investigation Saturday afternoon when a suspect they spotted inside the car refused to pull over during an attempted traffic stop.
The suspect then fled the scene, and during the ensuing vehicle pursuit, the driver collided with an SUV and careened into the house, police say.
The man was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the SUV suffered only minor injuries.
No officers were hurt.
