Officers with the Boyertown (PA) Police Department will soon begin reporting for duty at a brand new headquarters facility as the agency has built a new base of operations for the first time in decades.
According to WFMZ-TV, the renovation of the new station on West Philadelphia Avenue cost nearly $1 million. The building, donated by BB&T, served as a car dealership more than 50 years ago.
"It's been a long time coming," said Chief Barry Leatherman.
