Louisiana Trooper Injured in Crash, Suspect Charged with DWI
The crash happened shortly before 11:45 p.m. Thursday while the trooper was parked in a construction zone.

Authorities say a woman has been arrested and charged with DWI after injuring a Louisiana State trooper in an overnight crash on I-10 West.
The crash happened shortly before 11:45 p.m. Thursday while the trooper was parked in a construction zone, reports WBRZ.
Authorities say a Jeep Cherokee driven by 31-year-old Volha Tryshyna reportedly passed the construction "crash-truck" parked behind the trooper's fully marked Tahoe and hit the LSP unit.
The trooper was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. Tryshyna, who was uninjured, was charged with DWI, vehicular negligent injuring, and careless operation.
