Off-Duty Cincinnati Officer Struck by Vehicle and Injured

An officer with the Cincinnati Police Department was struck by a vehicle and injured when she stopped on an interstate to investigate a man walking on the highway who appeared to be intoxicated.

An off-duty officer with the Cincinnati Police Department was struck by a vehicle and injured when she stopped on an interstate to investigate a man walking on the highway who appeared to be intoxicated.

According to Cincinnati.com, at least two drivers lost control of their vehicles and struck the officer's personal vehicle and clipped the officer's left leg.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital where she is expected to be okay.
