A repeat felon is now in custody after he accidentally dropped a loaded pistol to the floor of a donut/ice cream shop in which several officers were dining.

A repeat felon is now in custody after he accidentally dropped a loaded pistol to the floor of a donut/ice cream shop in which several officers were dining.

The NYPD Transit Division posted two images to Twitter—one of the arresting officers and the other of the gun laying beside an evidence cone—with the caption, "3 of our cops are in the local Dunkin/Baskin Robbins. A fella walks in, adjusts his pants & out drops a loaded gun on the floor. Now the repeat felon carrying it is in custody, all because a Transit cop had a craving for cake batter ice cream (seriously, this actually happened)."
