The California Legislature late last week approved a resolution that will officially dedicate a five-mile stretch of Interstate 5 to Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona, who was murdered in January 2019.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the stretch of road in Colusa County passes through Corona’s hometown of Arbuckle, California.
Corona had responded to a minor traffic collision when she was approached by a man on a bicycle who shot her several times.
The gunman fled to a nearby home where he was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
