An officer with the Cleveland Heights (OH) Police Department is being hailed for his quick response to a house fire in which a six-year-old boy was trapped inside.
According to Fox News, Josh Robertson was the first to arrive at the scene and was told by the homeowner that her six-year-old son was trapped inside.
Robertson crawled under the heavy smoke and began searching for the child. He couldn't see the boy but heard him moaning. Locating him from that sound, he grabbed the child by the shirt and began dragging him out of the house.
The boy was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
