Officers and police leaders with the Worthington (OH) Police Department are dealing with a mold problem discovered in vents and air ducts at the agency's headquarters building.

According to WBNS-TV, the department employed an environmental company to look into the matter, and the company sent a letter to the city saying that the matter should not be ignored.

"We've done some testing and found that there are slightly elevated levels of debris and types of mold, so we're just taking whatever steps we need to take to remediate that," said Anne Brown, public information officer for the city.

The solution to the problem potentially includes some deep cleaning, the installation of professional-grade dehumidifiers and the replacement of the HVAC system.
