A passerby discovered a man who died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound outside the Centennial Lakes Police Department in Circle Pines, MN Tuesday morning.
The department posted on its Facebook page, "There was a critical incident in front of the police department this morning. There is NO continuing danger to the community. No CLPD personnel were involved and/or injured. This is an active investigation. No further details will be released at this time."
The man was reportedly not a police department employee.
The medical examiner is working to determine the man's identity.
