Louisville Officer Shot, Injured During Foot Pursuit of 2 Subjects

An officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department suffered a graze wound from a gunshot during a foot pursuit early Friday morning.

An officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department suffered a graze wound from a gunshot during a foot pursuit early Friday morning.

According to the Courier Journal, Officer Noah Straman attempted to stop two men walking in a neighborhood when the subjects fled on foot.

Straman chased them, and during that foot pursuit, at least one of the men shot at him, grazing him.

Straman was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated.

The two men remain at large.
