A New York man was arrested Friday after he allegedly tried to pull over a van full of police detectives.
According to Fox News, the man—identified as 25-year-old Valiery Portlock—reportedly activated emergency lights and sounded an air horn as he attempted to pull the van over in the Long Island town of Hicksville.
When the occupants of the van—members of the Nassau County Police Department's electronics squad—identified themselves, Portlock reportedly fled the scene.
He was later arrested by highway patrol and charged with criminal impersonation, reckless endangerment, and fleeing the police.
