A man accused of shooting an officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department in August 2018 has pleaded not guilty, according to court records.

According to Fox News , the man—identified as 32-year-old Karrar Noaman Al Khammasi, who entered the United States as an Iraqi refugee—is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, felony menacing, and illegal possession of a weapon.
