According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the introduction of the new shirts—which sell for $20—comes in response to an order from the department that off-duty officers may not wear their uniforms at political rallies.
The change in policy came just days in advance of a planned rally for the presidential re-election campaign of Donald Trump.
