A former officer with the Helena (MT) Police Department now faces one charge of felony theft after an investigation revealed unauthorized spending from the labor union's bank accounts.
Officials say Tyler Wood made unauthorized purchases worth more than $6,800 using money from the Helena Police Protective Association, according to KTVH-TV
The Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation found that purchases were reportedly made at brick-and-mortar as well as online stores that were not authorized by the union.
