Two people reportedly smashed the window of a Louisiana State Police patrol vehicle and stole a patrol rifle from within the squad car.

According to CBS News, the incident took place late last month. The two individuals reportedly fled the scene and remain at large.

This is the second reported case of a rifle being stolen from a vehicle this year in New Orleans.
