A California man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after surveillance video showed him douse a parked patrol vehicle in an undetermined flammable liquid and set the car ablaze early Thursday morning.

Maldonado was arrested without incident several hours after the incident.

According to KTLA-TV , the man—identified as 24-year-old Elmer Maldonado set fire to the patrol car in the parking lot of the Hawthorne (CA) Police Department.
