An officer with the Dayton (OH) Police Department suffered undisclosed injuries when his patrol vehicle was struck by a suspected DUI driver.
According to WHIO Radio, the suspect—identified as 41-year-old Benjamin Bostom—crashed into the squad car occupied by a 25-year-old officer whose name has not been released.
The officer was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.
Bostom was cited for driving without reasonable control and he refused an alcohol test.
