An officer with the Belton (TX) Police Department was injured when his patrol vehicle was struck by a passing car at the scene of a traffic collision early Wednesday morning.
According to KWTX-TV , the officer's squad car was blocking a lane of traffic with it's emergency lights illuminated when a passing driver lost control of their car, slamming into the rear of the police car.
