Veteran Alabama Officer Dies of Undisclosed Causes

Officer Chuck Bradley—who had been in law enforcement for more than two decades— has died at the age of 44.

An officer with the Pelham (AL) Police Department has died at the age of 44.

According to WBRC-TV, Officer Chuck Bradley—who had been in law enforcement for more than two decades—died on Wednesday.

Chief Patrick Cheatwood said, "We are heartbroken. Officer Bradley was a part of our family, and he will be greatly missed."

Bradley's cause of death has not been released.
