Pennsylvania Officer Accused of Forging Psychological Evaluation

An officer with the Elizabeth Borough Police Department is now charged with forgery in the case of a psychological evaluation of a fellow officer.

An officer with the Elizabeth Borough Police Department is now charged with forgery in the case of a psychological evaluation of a fellow officer.  

According to WTAE-TV News, Officer Casey Perrotta allegedly filled out an evaluation form that was intended to be completed by a licensed clinical doctor, signed the doctor's name, and instructed the officer to mail the document to Elizabeth Borough Police Department.

Perrotta is charged with forgery, unsworn falsification to authorities, and tampering with public records.

In a written statement, Elizabeth Borough Police Chief Bill Sombo said that he and his department are looking into the allegations and cannot comment further on the ongoing investigation.
