Georgia Officer Injured in Vehicle Collision While Responding to Emergency Call

An officer with the Calhoun (GA) Police Department was injured Sunday in a vehicle collision while en route to an emergency call.

An officer with the Calhoun (GA) Police Department was injured Sunday in a vehicle collision while en route to an emergency call.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Officer John Cuprowski suffered a broken foot and dislocated ankle when his patrol car left the roadway and slid into a ditch as he was responding to a call for service.

Cuprowski was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
