South Carolina Teen Under Quarantine Coughs on Officers

A teenage girl in South Carolina was arrested Wednesday and has been charged with breach of peace high and aggravated after she reportedly intentionally coughed on officers, claiming to have coronavirus.

According to WSOC-TV , the 17-year-old was supposed to be under self-quarantine when police say she purposely coughed on and near two officers at a park Monday evening.

Police say officers were called to Lige Street Park Monday around 7:45 p.m. after getting word that several females were fighting, and the officers were trying to break up the melee.
