An officer with the Billings (MT) Police Department reportedly suffered minor injuries in an incident early Thursday during which a subject drew and fired a gun.
According to KTVQ-TV, the officer was not struck by gunfire but did suffer injuries later described by an agency spokesperson as non-life-threatening.
Few other details about the incident have been released, but police have advised the local residents that a search remains ongoing to find and apprehend the suspected gunman.
