Retired Fairfax, VA, police officer Phillip A. Thiessen was riding his motorcycle in Fond du Lac County when he was struck by a vehicle and killed. Police say the attack was intentional.

A former Fairfax, VA, police officer was murdered in Wisconsin in what police there are calling a hate crime.

Daniel Navarro, 27, is held on a $1 million bond and is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide - hate crime, use of a dangerous weapon, and first-degree recklessly endangering safety - hate crime, WJLA reports.
