Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with an attack on police officers responding to a demonstration that turned violent earlier this week in New York City.
According to the Washington Post, the two men—identified as Shaborn Banks and Koran Campbell, both 25 years of age—were charged with assault on a police officer, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
The officers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment following the protests that erupted on the Brooklyn Bridge.
