Off-Duty Officer Shot During Robbery Attempt in Texas

An off-duty officer with the Dallas Police Department was shot Sunday as two people tried to rob his wife in Fort Worth.

According to the Dallas Morning News , the officer—whose name has not been released—was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.

Officers with the Fort Worth Police Department were able to apprehend and arrest one suspect.

Charges against the subject—whose name also has not been released—are pending.
