An officer with the Syracuse Police Department has been placed on paid administrative leave after a citizen posted a video that indicated he had shoved a person during a confrontation.
According to CNYcentral.com, the officer—whose name has not been released—was captured on mobile phone video approaching an individual who had been causing a disturbance.
The officer is seen in the video saying, "Say it to my face" before pushing on the person who had been taunting him.
An internal investigation is now ongoing.
