The LAPD has released body-camera video of a man attacking an officer, pistol-whipping him with his own gun and shooting at another officer inside the San Pedro station Sept. 26.
Investigators say 29-year-old Jose Guzman walked into the Harbor station attacked an officer, took away his gun, and beat the officer with the weapon.
The video shows a man, later identified by police as Guzman, enter the station and attack the officer. It shows the suspect with a duty pistol, a struggle on the floor with the assaulted officer, and the suspect leaving the bleeding officer.
Guzman drove off in a white pickup truck, and was later arrested, ABC7 reports.
He was charged with two counts of attempted murder of police officers.
