A Brooklyn woman is facing felony assault charges for allegedly assaulting a two-star NYPD chief during a night of violent protests in Manhattan Wednesday.

In another election protest incident, a woman faces charges after she allegedly spit in the face on an NYPD sergeant.

Rachel Menard, 23, is accused of intervening as Assistant Chief Stephen Hughes, the commanding officer of Patrol Borough Manhattan South, was assisting in the arrest of William Beaudoin, the New York Post reports.

Menard allegedly punched Hughes twice in the face as Beaudoin, 23, was being cuffed.

Beaudoin, meanwhile, was trying to thwart cops from arresting another person, who got away, police said.

Menard is charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and obstruction of governmental administration, while Beaudoin is charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and harassment. They reportedly gave the same address as their residence.

In another assault on an NYPD officer Wednesday night, a Pennsylvania woman was charged after allegedly spitting in the face of a sergeant.

Singh was part of a group of left-wing, anti-cop protesters who clashed with police in the West Village, lit garbage on fire and screamed at diners outdoors, cops said. Sixty people were arrested, the New York Post reports.
