A Marion County, SC, sheriff's deputy has been killed in a patrol vehicle crash.

A Marion County, SC, sheriff's deputy has been killed in a patrol vehicle crash.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office reported on Facebook that Deputy Jonathan David Price, 29, died Wednesday night in the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports another said another person died in the crash, which happened at about 11 p.m.
"Deputy Price had served the Marion County Sheriff's Office since September 2020, and had previously served with the City of Dillon Police Department. Deputy Price leaves behind a loving wife, and three small children. We ask you to keep all of us along with David's family in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come," the agency posted on Facebook.
