Houston Officer Who Resigned Last Week, Arrested Over U.S. Capitol Entry

The former officer faces charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Tam Pham, an 18-year veteran of the Houston Police Department who resigned last week, was arrested Wednesday morning after turning himself in to the FBI in Houston in connection with violence at the U.S. Capitol two weeks ago.

Pham faces charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

KPRC 2 reports that Pham tried to delete photos that showed him inside the U.S. Capitol during the riot, according to court documents released Tuesday.
