NJ Officer Fatally Shoots Man who Flipped Patrol Vehicle with Backhoe

Witnesses said the suspect flipped a patrol vehicle and an ambulance, crashed into another patrol vehicle, damaged privately owned vehicles, and even damaged some homes.

A man was shot and killed by a Vineland, NJ, police officer Saturday after he allegedly used a backhoe to go on rampage in a mobile home park.

Witnesses told 6ABC that the suspect flipped a patrol vehicle and an ambulance, crashed into another patrol vehicle, damaged privately owned vehicles, and even damaged some homes.

Three Vineland police officers sustained minor injuries during the incident. They have since been treated and released.
