New Hampshire SRO Dies After On-Duty Medical Event

A Hillsboro, NH, school resource officer suffered a medical event on duty Tuesday and died.
Officer Rory Bohanan of the Hillsboro Police Department had a long career in law enforcement and corrections and was set to retire in June, the department said in a press release.
Bohanan worked for both the Henniker and Hopkinton Police Departments before becoming the School Resource Officer at Hillsboro-Deering Schools.
"The men and women of the Hillsboro Police Department extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, family, and friends during what is a difficult and painful time. We will all miss “Officer Bo” very dearly," the department said.
