Two NYPD officers were reunited with a blind man they pulled to safety last week after he stumbled off a subway platform in Brooklyn.
Detective Henry Greco and Officer Jason Macaluso pulled the 61-year-old man to safety after he fell onto the tracks from the platform. The rescue was recorded by an officers body-worn camera.
The two officers, who are assigned to patrol public housing, were honored this week when the Metro Transportation Authority awarded them with special commendations. The man they saved was present for the award ceremony, ABC7 reports.
