An Oklahoma City, OK, police officer was killed early Thursday morning in an off-duty vehicle accident in which she was struck by a vehicle that crossed the median. Police have identified the officer as Sgt. Meagan Burke, 31. She joined the department in May 2016.
Police received a call reporting the crash on Interstate 44 around 12:30 a.m. The off-duty officer was traveling north on the interstate when a southbound vehicle crossed the median and hit her vehicle as she was driving home, reports FOX23 .
