The incident started around noon when police responded to a trespassing call at a nearby business, Keli McAlister, of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, tells WREG .
The same man was later confronted by two officers at the nearby library. That’s when he produced a weapon and fired at one of the officers. The other officer returned fire, killing the man, McAlister explains.
