The Fremont (Calif.) PD officer shot twice in the pelvis while attempting to arrest a gang member is now resting at home, after a seven-week hospital stay involving multiple surgeries and an initial infusion of 60 units of blood.
Officer Todd Young , 39, was shot twice by Andrew Barrientos, 20, on Aug. 27 when the officer tried to arrest the known gang member in East Oakland during a multi-agency task force warrent service mission, reports SFGate.com.
