West Virginia Man Who Made Threats Against Police Denied Bond

A man who is accused of making terroristic threats against the Beckley (WV) Police Department will remain in jail as he awaits trial, as a judge denied bond in a proceeding on Monday afternoon.

According to NBC News , Anthony Brown had been arrested in April for wanton endangerment with a firearm and was subsequently released after posting the $10,000 bond set by Raleigh County Magistrate Greg Tanner.

One condition of his bond was that he not violate any state or federal laws. However, police say Brown then called the records personnel at the department, demanding to get his gun back. They replied that his weapon would not be released until after his case was cleared in court.

Brown then reportedly became agitated and began making terroristic threats stating that he was going to come to the Beckley Police Department and "shoot all you m***** f***ing pigs."

He was arrested on new charges of making terroristic threats and remanded to Southern Regional Jail.
