Washington Metro Police Officer Struck by Passenger Bus

An officer with the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department officer was injured after being hit by a passenger bus Wednesday night.

According to NBC News , the officer was outside a vehicle when the incident occurred.

The officer—whose name has not been released—was transported to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
