Virginia Officers Investigating Suspected Police Impostor Making Traffic Stops

The Augusta County (VA) Sheriff's Office is investigating a second report of a police impersonator along a stretch of a local highway in the span of one week.

According to WHSV-TV , two drivers reported that a grey or dark sedan flashed blue lights, signaling them to pull over in separate incidents on July 21 and July 26.

The alleged impostor remains at large, and police are seeking the assistance of citizens to identify and locate the suspect.
