Violent Subject Deploys Officer's TASER on Officer During Struggle

Officers with the Smyrna (GA) Police Department were engaged in a violent struggle with a dangerous subject when the man gained control of one of the officer's TASER and deployed it on one of the officers.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution , the TASER's probes struck the officer in the torso and the groin, briefly incapacitating the officer.

The offender—identified as 20-year-old Mark Anthony Antunez—now faces four felony charges, including aggravated assault against an officer, willful obstruction of an officer, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance
