Deputies from the Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, Sheriff’s Office recently pursued a suspect from I-41 to two lane rural roads, across a small airport runway, into a commercial zone, and finally onto a I-41 entrance ramp where the vehicle was PITed and surrounded by patrol vehicles.

On Monday May 19, 2025, deputies arrested two men who had led them on a pursuit in a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox SUV. A third person in the vehicle was released without charges.
The sheriff’s office says the same vehicle was involved in two prior high-speed pursuits.
A search of the vehicle by a Fond du Lac Police K-9 yielded a firearm.
The driver was identified by law enforcement as Chaz Young. According to the sheriff’s office, Young was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, reckless endangering safety, fleeing/eluding, battery/threat to officer, possession of narcotics, and more.
One passenger, identified by law enforcement as Alonso Tinoco, was also arrested. According to the sheriff’s office, Tinoco was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, fleeing/eluding, and possession of methamphetamine.
“Through investigation, it's alleged that the suspects were contemplating shooting at the pursuing deputies in an attempt to back them off,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook .
