A group of Fort Worth, TX, officers saved the life of an armed robbery suspect following a police chase through south Fort Worth earlier this month.
Officers were told to be on the lookout for a silver sedan with three men, possibly armed with guns.
They spotted the suspects' car on I-35, and a pursuit with speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour ensued.
Eventually, the car wrecked and it wasn't long before the engine erupted into flames.
One suspect fled. Another was detained at the scene. A third was trapped in the burning car and was pulled out by officers. He was then taken into custody, WFAA reports.
The incident was captured on the officers' body cameras.
