A man, who allegedly stole a truck, led officers from several Minnesota law enforcement agencies on a nearly 40-minute chase through the Twin Cities metro area Wednesday afternoon.

A man, who allegedly stole a truck, led officers from several Minnesota law enforcement agencies on a nearly 40-minute chase through the Twin Cities metro area Wednesday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports it received a report of a stolen tow truck. An unmarked trooper located the flatbed truck on westbound Hwy. 10 at 1:40 p.m. and called for backup.
Additional squads arrived and attempted to stop the driver, but he did a U-turn onto eastbound Hwy. 10 and fled. Several troopers deployed stop sticks in hopes of ending the pursuit. In fact, MSP estimates the driver went through as many as 10 of them, missing several others.
The truck was eventually brought to a stop near the Anoka County border by the damage to its tires and a PIT maneuver, KARE TV reports.
