The van led LAPD officers on city streets, then headed both directions on the Harbor (110) Freeway. The driver continued west on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway at about 1:30 p.m. and continued into the USC area.
The male suspect ran on foot on Vermont Avenue before slipping on wet concrete. Officers then took him into custody, reports NBC News .
