A North Carolina man is facing multiple charges and up to four years in prison if convicted in a violent road rage encounter in which he opened fire on a truckload of young men, reports WNCT.
Bradley Turner, 40, appeared in court Wednesday following the Sunday incident that was captured on cell-phone video. Carteret County (N.C.) Sheriff's deputies also arrested Turner's wife, Christy.
In the video footage, Turner can be seen yelling at the young men and punching William Berry, 20. Turner accused them of cutting him off. Berry and his friend Nathan Brotzman, 21, then assault Turner, who retreats to his vehicle and pulls out a handgun. Turner then fires several shots at the truck.
Turner's lawyer, Roger Crowe, said his client is "a father and a husband and a hard-working man, and he was just completely terrified."
