A Maryland man now faces an assault charge for scuffling with an off-duty Baltimore Police officer at an educational forum.
Robert Small didn't follow the procedures while speaking Thursday at a Maryland Department of Education forum in Towson to discuss a new curriculum called the "Common Core."
Small began berating his fellow audience members, who were asked to submit questions and comments in writing so the board could cover as many as possible in a short amount of time, reports CBS News.
"Don't stand for this. You're sitting here like cattle. You have questions. Confront them. They don't want to do it in public ... Hey, is this America?" Small said.
A Baltimore Police officer providing security to the forum grappled with Small, who has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
