Video: Okla. Cops Fired for Restraining Hospital Patient

Surveillance video showing Bartlesville (Okla.) Police officers restraining a hospital patient has led to the firing of two officers involved in the incident, reports News On 6.
The officers responded on Sept. 18 to Jane Phillips Medical Center to a report of a combative patient who was possibly suicidal.
The video, which is 45 minutes in the full-length version, shows three officers using force on the man. Officers Stacy Neafus and Sonya Worthington later lost their jobs.
In the video, Officer Worthington is shown twisting the subject's head. Officer Neafus is seen pushing the man's head under a table. Officers Carey Duniphin and Josh Patzkowski were also present. The man is seen several times lashing out at the officers.
Neafus and Worthington were charged with assault and battery Dec. 1, reports Bartlesville Radio.
The two fired officers are among eight current and former Bartlesville officers who filed a class action lawsuit against the city, claiming illegal and improper employment practices.
